Claire Nicolas White (Holanda, 1925-2020) es conocida como novelista, poeta, traductora y ensayista. Traducida por primera vez al español, ha publicado entre otros The death of the Orange Trees, Ernestine, Snapshots y Biography&Other Poems. Ha ganado diversos premios literarios, como el Honorable Mention PEN Translation Prize (1985), Phyllis Whitney Writing Award (1988), Walt Whitman Birthplace Award (2005).
